I saw an old auntie selling tissue near Jurong East Interchange.
Wanted to buy some tissue but remembered about the reports I read about syndicates using elderly to cheat money from the public.
When I looked at her again, some asshole just pushed her hand away when she offered tissue.
Wtf, she's old okay. No sense of decency to refuse politely? Don't smack her hand away then. You have no idea how hard she has to work, standing there for hours on end selling tissue.
You, on the other hand, are perfectly capable of working for yourself. You're not disabled, you don't look sickly, you look like you could spend about $100 on tissue at the drop of a hat.
That doesn't mean you can treat her like some being not worthy of your respect.

Went to meet Mel at Chinatown Point today and went into Pan-in-a-box. Saw her friend and said hi and surprisingly didn't scare him.
Proceeded to Carrefour at Plaza Sing and obsessed over cheese and evaporated milk and lettuce for the Home Econs project.
"How can you buy milk when it's already evaporated?" -Melissa.
"No, you put milk out in the sun. Then you'll get evaporated milk or some lumpy things." -Kazuo.
